Managing complex work-related injury claims, the full-time Florida Licensed Claims Specialist will handle cases involving lost work and litigation from inception to completion while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the management of work-related injury claims, conducting thorough investigations and gathering necessary information
- Communicate with injured workers, employers, and legal counsel regarding claim status and transfers
- Calculate average weekly wages and compensation rates, and review and approve related medical bills and invoices
Required qualifications
- High School Graduate or Equivalent (Required)
- 6-20 All-Lines Adjuster License (Required)
- 5+ years of workers compensation adjusting experience (Required)
- Knowledge of medical terminology (Preferred)
- 2+ years of multi-jurisdictional experience (Preferred)
