Job Summary
Overseeing a team of workers' compensation claims professionals, the full-time Florida Licensed Claims Supervisor will manage medical-only, lost time, and complex claims remotely while providing leadership, coaching, and technical expertise to ensure compliance and effective claim resolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor claims adjusters, providing coaching and performance feedback
- Review complex claims and ensure compliance with regulations and company standards
- Partner with medical providers to implement effective treatment and return-to-work strategies
Required Qualifications
- Active FL 5-20 or 6-20 license is mandatory
- 5+ years of experience in workers' compensation claims handling
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience is preferred
- Strong knowledge of workers' compensation laws and regulations
- Experience in monitoring claims operations and performance metrics
