Florida Licensed Claims Unit Manager

Job Summary

Leading a remote team of claims professionals, the full-time Florida Licensed Claims Unit Manager will supervise a unit of 5-8 claims personnel, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory standards while fostering a culture of service and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage the claims team, ensuring effective caseload handling and accountability for outcomes
• Adhere to file handling standards and company policies, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements
• Lead initiatives to improve service quality and manage corrective action processes in line with HR guidelines

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; 2-year degree or higher preferred
• 7+ years of overall claims and litigation experience, preferably in construction defect claims
• 2+ years of supervisory experience in claims or a related field preferred
• Claims designation (AIC, ARM, CPCU, SCLA, or similar) preferred
• Must possess or be able to obtain a Florida Adjuster's license or other required jurisdictional licensing
