Job Summary

To support high-quality coding practices, the full-time Florida Licensed Coding Auditor will conduct pre-bill high-risk audits, validate DRG integrity, and collaborate with clinical teams remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct pre-bill high-risk audits targeting complex inpatient and outpatient cases
• Perform advanced DRG validation and ensure appropriate application of coding methodologies
• Collaborate with coding teams and clinical documentation improvement (CDI) to resolve complex documentation scenarios

Required qualifications

• Associates degree in a healthcare-related discipline
• 6+ years of acute care inpatient or outpatient hospital coding experience
• 4+ years of auditing experience
• Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or equivalent coding certification
• Advanced knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS or CPT/HCPCS coding methodologies
