Job Summary

Leading coding operations for inpatient and outpatient services, the full-time Florida Licensed Coding Director will manage performance targets for productivity and turnaround time while ensuring compliance with coding standards in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee coding operations to achieve performance targets and reduce DNFB through proactive management
• Establish standardized workflow management practices and implement operational improvements across coding teams
• Provide insights on productivity and coding trends to senior leadership while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance coding accuracy

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field
• 7+ years of acute care hospital coding experience
• 6+ years of management experience with direct reports
• Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or equivalent coding certification
• Proficiency in EMR systems, preferably Epic, and Microsoft 365 products
