Florida Licensed Coding Manager

Job Summary

Leading inpatient and outpatient coding operations, the full-time Florida Licensed Coding Manager will ensure accurate coding performance, drive operational efficiency, and manage coding teams in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee coding operations to ensure alignment with enterprise performance expectations and timely coding performance
• Monitor productivity and workflow management, addressing challenges and implementing process improvements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance coding accuracy and operational stability

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field
• 6+ years of acute care hospital coding experience
• 3+ years of supervisory or management experience
• Certification as a Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), or Certified Professional Coder (CPC)
• Advanced knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS and/or CPT/HCPCS coding methodologies
