Florida Licensed Coding Trainer

Job Summary

To enhance coding accuracy and education, the full-time Florida Licensed Coding Trainer will analyze audit results, develop individualized education plans, and implement team-based training programs while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Reviews and analyzes pre-bill and post-bill audit results to identify coding accuracy trends
• Develops and delivers individualized education plans based on coder performance and audit findings
• Collaborates with various teams to align education with audit findings and workflow improvements

Required qualifications

• Associates degree in a healthcare-related or education field
• 3+ years of coding experience (inpatient and outpatient)
• Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or equivalent certification required
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS or CPT/HCPCS
• Experience in coding audit, DRG validation, or education/training roles preferred
