Florida Licensed Commercial Account Manager

Job Summary

Managing a complex book of commercial insurance business, the full-time Florida Licensed Commercial Account Manager will oversee the day-to-day servicing, marketing, and renewal processes for apartment communities and multifamily housing, working remotely within the EST or CST time zones.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and service an assigned book of commercial insurance focused on habitational risks
• Lead the renewal process in collaboration with the Producer and service team, including strategy development and submission preparation
• Market accounts to carriers, respond to underwriting inquiries, and negotiate terms and conditions

Required qualifications

• Active Florida 2-20 Property and Casualty license or ability to obtain it within an agreed timeframe
• Four to five years of experience in commercial insurance, with at least two years in habitational risks
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications and experience with insurance agency management systems, preferably Applied Epic
• College degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
• Professional insurance designation such as CIC, CRM, CPCU, ARM, or CRIS is preferred
