Florida Licensed Commercial Account Manager

Job Summary

Managing a complex book of commercial insurance focused on apartment communities and multifamily housing, the full-time Florida Licensed Commercial Account Manager will oversee day-to-day operations, including renewals and client servicing, while working remotely within the EST or CST time zones.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage and service a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, focusing on habitational risks
• Lead the renewal process in collaboration with the Producer and service team, including strategy development and submission preparation
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, underwriters, and internal partners while ensuring timely service for various account needs

Required qualifications:

• Active Florida 2-20 Property and Casualty license or ability to obtain it within an agreed timeframe
• Four to five years of experience in a commercial insurance agency, with at least two years in habitational risks
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications and experience with an insurance agency management system, preferably Applied Epic
• College degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
• Professional insurance designation such as CIC, CRM, CPCU, ARM, or CRIS is preferred
