Job Summary
Supporting a global SaaS business, the full-time Florida Licensed Commercial Attorney will manage the review, drafting, and negotiation of commercial agreements, while providing legal guidance on privacy, security, and intellectual property matters in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with the General Counsel on complex negotiations and legal projects, addressing material legal risks
- Draft and negotiate various commercial agreements, including master subscription agreements and vendor contracts
- Provide legal guidance on data processing, privacy, and AI agreements while supporting cross-border commercial matters
Required qualifications
- J.D. degree from an accredited law school
- Active membership in the Florida Bar and admission to practice law in Florida in good standing
- 2+ years of experience with complex commercial agreements, preferably in a SaaS or cloud-based technology environment
- Working knowledge of SaaS contracting and familiarity with privacy regulations such as GDPR
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills, with the ability to communicate legal concepts to non-legal audiences
