Job Summary
Seeking a Florida Licensed Commercial Lending Attorney, the full-time remote position will provide legal support for a growing bank, focusing on commercial, consumer, and real estate transactions, as well as corporate governance and litigation matters in Florida.
Key responsibilities
- Provide strategic legal counsel to executive leadership and business units on various legal matters
- Manage collection litigation and oversee multi-state litigation, ensuring effective recoveries and risk mitigation
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial loan and real estate financing documents, ensuring compliance with legal standards
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and active membership in the Florida Bar
- 5+ years of relevant legal practice experience in consumer and commercial lending litigation
- Strong legal drafting, negotiation, and litigation skills with knowledge of corporate law and governance principles
- High ethical integrity and judgment with no disciplinary history
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively across all organizational levels
