Florida Licensed Consumer Access Specialist
Job Summary
To enhance patient financial services, the full-time Florida Licensed Consumer Access Specialist will perform Medicare compliance reviews, create patient financial estimates, and manage communication between departments while working remotely from 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM EST.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct Medicare compliance reviews and issue Advance Beneficiary Notices of Noncoverage as necessary
- Collect payments, establish payment plans, and coordinate with utilization management for pre-authorizations
- Register patients for services, ensuring accurate demographic and insurance information while providing excellent customer service
Required qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred
- 1+ years of customer service experience preferred
- 1+ years of relevant healthcare experience preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance benefits
- Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) or Certified Revenue Cycle Rep (CRCR) preferred
