Florida Licensed Consumer Access Specialist

Job Summary

To enhance patient access and financial processes, the full-time Florida Licensed Consumer Access Specialist will perform Medicare compliance reviews, create patient financial estimates, and coordinate with insurance companies while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Perform Medicare compliance reviews and issue Advance Beneficiary Notices of Noncoverage as necessary
• Collect patient financial responsibility estimates and manage payment collections or plans
• Coordinate with clinical and consumer access departments to ensure a seamless patient experience

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred
• 1+ years of customer service experience preferred
• 1+ years of relevant healthcare experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology
• Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) or Certified Revenue Cycle Rep (CRCR) preferred
