Florida Licensed Consumer Access Specialist

Job Summary

To support patient financial services, the full-time Florida Licensed Consumer Access Specialist will perform Medicare compliance reviews, create accurate patient financial estimates, and coordinate with insurance companies for eligibility verification while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct Medicare compliance reviews and issue Advance Beneficiary Notices of Noncoverage as needed
• Register patients for services, ensuring accuracy and minimizing duplication of medical records
• Manage communication between clinical, ancillary, and consumer access departments to enhance the patient experience

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred
• 1+ year of customer service experience preferred
• 1+ year of relevant healthcare experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology
• Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) or Certified Revenue Cycle Rep (CRCR) preferred
