Florida Licensed Consumer Access Specialist

Job Summary

In a fully remote capacity, the Florida Licensed Consumer Access Specialist will manage high-volume inbound and outbound calls in a call center environment, assisting patients with understanding financial aspects of their care, collecting payments, and providing support throughout their healthcare journey.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate estimated out-of-pocket costs and discuss available payment options with patients
• Perform Medicare compliance reviews and coordinate with insurance companies for eligibility verification and pre-authorizations
• Document patient interactions accurately while consistently meeting productivity and quality expectations

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required); Associate's degree (preferred)
• 1+ years of customer service experience (preferred)
• 1+ years of relevant healthcare experience (preferred)
• 1+ years of revenue cycle experience (preferred)
• Certification as a Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) or Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) (preferred)
