Florida Licensed Consumer Access Specialist

Job Summary

To support patient financial services, the full-time Florida Licensed Consumer Access Specialist will manage Medicare compliance reviews, create patient financial estimates, and coordinate insurance verifications while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform Medicare compliance reviews and issue Advance Beneficiary Notices of Noncoverage as needed
• Create accurate estimates for patient financial responsibility and establish payment plans
• Contact insurance companies to verify eligibility and benefits, ensuring timely pre-authorizations

Required qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred
• 1+ years of customer service experience preferred
• 1+ years of relevant healthcare experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology
• Understanding of HIPAA privacy rules and ability to maintain confidentiality
