Job Summary
Managing a team of hub accountants, the full-time Florida Licensed Corporate Accounting Manager will oversee accounting for internally developed software, fixed assets, and leases, ensuring compliance with US GAAP standards in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee accounting for internally developed software projects, including capitalization assessments and cost tracking
- Manage the full lifecycle of fixed assets and ensure compliance with lease accounting standards
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes while mentoring and guiding a team of accountants
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
- 7-10 years of relevant experience in public accounting or within a large organization
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, particularly ASC 350-40, ASC 360, and ASC 842
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP or OneStream
