Job Summary

Seeking a mid-level Florida Licensed Defense Attorney, the remote position will manage a diverse caseload in general litigation and tort defense, providing opportunities for hands-on experience and professional development while collaborating with colleagues across state and federal courts.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent clients in general liability and tort defense matters in Florida and federal courts
• Manage cases from inception through resolution, including discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation
• Draft pleadings, conduct depositions, and participate in mediations and settlement negotiations

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the Florida State Bar and in good standing
• 3+ years of experience in general litigation and tort defense
• Experience handling matters in Florida and/or federal courts
• Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
