Florida Licensed Emergency Nurse

Job Summary

To support the emergency department, the part-time Florida Licensed Emergency Nurse will provide critical patient care during night shifts, demonstrating advanced nursing skills and responding to complex medical situations in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Utilizes critical knowledge and judgment to care for patients requiring complex assessments and high-intensity interventions
• Monitors and adjusts specialized equipment while interpreting electronic displays and responding to life-saving situations
• Documents patient care accurately and consistently, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and prioritizing evidence-based practices

Required qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing
• Current State of Florida RN license or valid eNLC multistate RN license
• Current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience in a hospital setting
• Meets all mandatory and performance competency requirements for the unit/department
