Job Summary
To support dental claims review services, the part-time Florida Licensed Endodontist Consultant will utilize clinical expertise to authorize or deny claims, evaluate appeals, and communicate outcomes while working remotely for 15-20 hours per week.
Key responsibilities
- Authorize or deny predeterminations and claims by reviewing radiographs and supporting documentation
- Evaluate appeals, request additional information, and make revised claim decisions
- Communicate claim review outcomes to participating dentists and plan members
Required qualifications
- D.D.S. or D.M.D. from an accredited dental school
- Board certification in Endodontics
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience
- Prior claims review experience strongly preferred (2+ years)
- Active, unrestricted dental license in the state of Florida
