Job Summary
Compassionate and dedicated, the Florida Licensed Hospice Veterinarian will provide gentle hospice and in-home euthanasia care to pets and their families, working full-time with a self-managed schedule, while practicing independently in a supportive environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver compassionate end-of-life care in the comfort of clients' homes
- Manage a flexible schedule with a limited number of appointments per day to ensure quality interactions
- Collaborate with a supportive team for ongoing mentorship and professional growth
Required qualifications:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
- Valid U.S. Driver's License
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 90 lbs with assistance
- Willingness to complete license verification, background check, and driving record review
- Flexibility to choose weekend workdays that fit personal schedules
