Job Summary
A company is looking for a Coder Inpatient.
Key Responsibilities
- Abstract, code, sequence, and interpret clinical information from various medical records
- Assign correct principal and secondary diagnosis and procedure codes while ensuring accurate sequencing
- Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and coding guidelines while documenting productivity
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of coding experience in an acute care setting
- 2+ years coding experience across multiple specialties
- CCS credential required
- Experience with CDI preferred
- Familiarity with Meditech and 3M 360 is a plus
