Florida Licensed Inside Broker

Job Summary

Seeking a Florida Licensed Inside Broker, the full-time remote professional will evaluate commercial casualty submissions, negotiate terms with carriers, and manage relationships with retail agents to deliver effective insurance solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Review and evaluate casualty submissions to identify exposures and placement opportunities
• Negotiate pricing and terms with carrier partners while presenting coverage options to retail brokers
• Manage accounts from submission through binding, ensuring accurate documentation and communication

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in wholesale brokerage, underwriting, or commercial casualty insurance
• Strong knowledge of casualty coverages, including General Liability and Excess Liability
• Experience in marketing accounts and negotiating with underwriters
• State Property & Casualty License and/or Surplus Lines License
• Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively in a remote environment
