Florida Licensed MDS Consultant
Job Summary
To support nursing homes in Florida, the full-time Florida Licensed MDS Consultant will provide training and oversight to MDS Coordinators, conduct regional meetings, and assist facilities in improving clinical metrics and compliance with state and federal standards.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct monthly Regional MDS meetings for training and CMI development
- Monitor and assist with RAC audits and develop regional tracking reports for clinical metrics
- Provide oversight and direction to the MDS department and assist with clinical risk management efforts
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent Accredited Nursing Program Degree
- Active and in good standing Professional License with the State Board of Nursing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite products
- Experience in nursing home or clinical settings preferred
- Ability to travel as needed for facility visits
