Job Summary

Detail-oriented and compassionate, the remote Florida Licensed Medical Benefits Specialist will assist patients through outbound and inbound calls, process prior authorization requests, and verify patient eligibility and benefits with insurance carriers while working full-time on a flexible schedule between 8 AM-9 PM CST.

Key responsibilities

• Perform outbound and inbound calls to assist patients with their medical benefits
• Review and process prior authorization requests for medications, services, and procedures
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and company policies while documenting all activities for tracking and audits

Required qualifications

• 1+ year of recent experience in medical benefits or prior authorizations
• Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance claims, and benefits verification
• Ability to manage high call volumes and multitask effectively
• Must have high-speed internet with modem access (hotspots not accepted)
