Job Summary

Supporting a short-term coding project focused on Family Medicine, Orthopedics, Pediatrics, and Allergy/Immunology, the Florida Licensed Medical Coder will work either full-time or part-time, coding professional fee services while ensuring compliance with coding guidelines and maintaining high accuracy and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Review provider documentation and assign accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes for professional fee services
• Code encounters across various specialties, including Family Medicine, Orthopedics, Pediatrics, and Allergy/Immunology
• Ensure compliance with payer-specific, CMS, and coding guidelines while meeting established productivity and quality standards

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Professional Fee coding experience
• Recent coding experience in Family Medicine, Orthopedics, Pediatrics, or Allergy/Immunology
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS Level II, and E/M Coding Guidelines
• Hands-on experience with Cerner and 3M 360 Encompass
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining productivity and quality expectations
