Job Summary

To enhance the financial lives of members, the full-time Florida Licensed Mortgage Processor will process various mortgage loans, ensuring compliance with credit union policies and state regulations, while working in a hybrid environment that combines in-office and remote tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Administer tasks to meet processing conditions for loan approvals in accordance with GSE, PMI, FHA, USDA, and credit union guidelines
• Review and analyze supporting documents, including employment data, tax returns, and insurance coverage, to ensure accuracy
• Maintain communication with all parties involved in the mortgage transaction to ensure timely fulfillment of documentation requirements

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of mortgage processing or closing experience
• 2+ years of Fannie Mae experience preferred
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance necessary for job responsibilities
• Ability to work evening hours outside of normal operating hours
