Florida Licensed Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary

Providing fully remote virtual serious illness care management, the part-time Florida Licensed Nurse Practitioner will deliver care to patients and families across various service lines, including hospice and palliative care, while working evenings, nights, and weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct virtual assessments and manage care plans for patients and families
• Consult with medical staff and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care
• Document interactions and maintain electronic medical records in a timely manner

Required qualifications

• Master's or Doctor's degree in Nursing from an accredited Family or Adult Nurse Practitioner Program
• Minimum of 3 years of recent clinical experience in hospice, palliative care, or acute inpatient care
• National certification, licensure, and prescriptive authority in the home state and other states as needed
• Basic Life Support certification from an approved organization
• Compact RN license in the home state by the date of hire
