Job Summary

Welcoming newly licensed Registered Nurses, the full-time Florida Licensed Nurse Resident in the Multisystem Progressive Care Unit (PCU) will administer bedside patient care, assess patient needs, and collaborate with the healthcare team in a supportive, educational environment at Orlando Health's facility.

Key responsibilities

• Administers bedside patient care in an inpatient acute care setting under supervision
• Assesses patient needs and develops individualized plans of care
• Communicates and collaborates with medical staff and the interdisciplinary team to effectively manage patient care

Required qualifications

• Nursing school graduate
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida or holds a valid Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) multistate RN license
• Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification
• Completion of mandatory, developmental, and performance competency requirements for Orlando Health
• No prior nursing experience required
