Job Summary

To support the Neuro Step Down Unit, the full-time Florida Licensed Nurse Resident will administer patient care in an inpatient setting, focusing on neurological conditions while receiving structured orientation and mentorship from experienced nurses.

Key responsibilities

• Administers bedside patient care under supervision, including ongoing assessments and individualized care plans
• Evaluates patient progress and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to manage care effectively
• Documents patient care accurately, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies

Required qualifications

• Nursing school graduate
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida or valid Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) multistate RN license
• Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification
• Meets all mandatory, developmental, and performance competency requirements for the unit/department
• No prior experience required
