Job Summary

To support new nurses in their career development, the part-time Florida Licensed Nurse Resident will administer patient care in the Neuro Step Down Unit, focusing on neurological assessments and patient education while receiving structured mentorship in an inpatient setting.

Key responsibilities

• Administers bedside patient care under the supervision of experienced nursing staff
• Assesses patient needs and develops individualized plans of care
• Documents patient care and collaborates with the healthcare team to manage patient outcomes

Required qualifications

• Nursing school graduate
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida or holds a valid Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) multistate RN license
• Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification
• Meets all mandatory and performance competency requirements for Orlando Health
• No prior experience required
