Job Summary
Empowering students through engaging instruction, the part-time or full-time Florida Licensed Nursing Instructor will deliver a standardized distance education curriculum, facilitate student engagement, and monitor academic progress at the Clearwater campus, with potential for flexible remote scheduling.
Key responsibilities
- Teach the standardized distance education curriculum according to an assigned schedule
- Facilitate discussion forums and interactive course posts to promote student interaction and engagement
- Grade course activities and provide timely academic feedback to track student performance
Required qualifications
- Active Florida license to practice either practical nursing or professional nursing
- At least one year of clinical experience and one year of experience in teaching adults or supervising nursing assistants
- Completion of a course in teaching adults is preferred
- Ability to communicate fluently in verbal and written English
- Basic computer literacy to navigate required technology effectively
