Job Summary

To support a dynamic healthcare team, the full-time Professional Fee Pathology Coder will review pathology documentation, assign accurate ICD-10-CM and CPT codes, and perform charge entry functions while ensuring coding compliance and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Review pathology documentation and assign accurate ICD-10-CM diagnosis codes and CPT procedure codes
• Perform professional fee coding for pathology accounts in accordance with coding guidelines and payer requirements
• Complete charge entry for coded services in a timely and accurate manner

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Professional Fee Pathology coding experience
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM diagnosis coding and CPT coding for pathology services
• Experience working within Epic and Optum coding systems
• Ability to work independently while maintaining productivity and quality standards
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
