Florida Licensed Payment Specialist

Job Summary

To support the revenue cycle operations, the full-time Florida Licensed Payment Specialist will manage payment postings from third-party payors, resolve discrepancies, and ensure accurate processing of patient claims in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and post payments from third-party payors and resolve electronic posting exceptions
• Interpret Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and transfer remaining liabilities to appropriate payors
• Develop and maintain productive relationships with team members to achieve superior customer satisfaction

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year experience in posting insurance and patient payments
• Experience in reconciling payments to physician claims and hospital services
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Familiarity with insurance plans and EOBs
