Job Summary
To support the optimization of Epic pharmacy applications, the full-time remote Florida Licensed Pharmacy Analyst will design, build, and maintain clinical application functionality while ensuring compliance with medication-use workflows and collaborating with pharmacy and clinical teams.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the design, build, and maintenance of Epic pharmacy and clinical application functionalities, including medication workflows and formulary management
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to streamline prescription fulfillment and medication administration processes
- Participate in system validations and develop clinical decision support tools to enhance medication safety and operational excellence
Required qualifications
- Doctorate in Pharmacy or DNP; a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Nursing with additional experience may be considered
- Current licensure as a Pharmacist or Nurse Practitioner/Clinical Nurse Specialist
- EPIC certification in Beacon required, with Ambulatory preferred
- Five years of experience in pharmacy/clinical oncology nursing practice or Healthcare IT application analysis in the Epic Beacon environment
- Strong skills in workflow analysis, configuration, and the ability to translate operational workflows into Epic functionality
