Florida Licensed Pharmacy Coordinator

Job Summary

Supporting the health plan pharmacy program, the full-time Florida Licensed Pharmacy Coordinator will manage provider and pharmacy inquiries, review pharmacy overrides, and conduct outreach on medication adherence while working remotely from Monday to Friday.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and maintain the health plan pharmacy program, responding to inquiries regarding prior authorization and formulary processes
• Track and trend overrides, audit prior authorizations, and analyze costs to identify utilization patterns
• Educate providers and members on pharmacy processes and resolve network complaints with the Pharmacy team

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Three or more years of pharmacy experience preferred, ideally in managed care or retail
• Pharmacy Technician license and/or Pharmacy Technician Certification Board certification preferred
• Medicare or Medicaid experience preferred
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook
