Florida Licensed Pharmacy Technician
Job Summary
To support a growing pharmacy team, the full-time Registered Pharmacy Technician, Rx To Go will perform routine and non-routine pharmacy functions, manage multiple software applications, and provide exceptional service to patients and staff while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Perform pharmacy insurance data entry and verification of insurance benefits
- Document therapy adherence and maintain accurate medication information under the supervision of licensed pharmacists
- Coordinate with pharmacy teams to expedite services and resolve billing issues with insurance companies
Required qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education
- Minimum of one year of experience as a Registered Pharmacy Technician in specialty, retail, mail order, or hospital pharmacy
- Active Registered Pharmacy Technician license in Florida
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook preferred
- Active National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB) preferred
