Florida Licensed Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary

To support increased demand during the busy season, the Remote Seasonal Pharmacy Technician will serve as a key contact for members, providers, and pharmacies, addressing inquiries related to benefits, prior authorization, and claims from October through February.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for members, providers, and pharmacies across various communication channels, delivering timely support
• Field and resolve inquiries related to mail order, benefit design, prior authorization criteria, and claims adjudication
• Accurately document interactions and resolutions within internal systems to ensure continuity of care and compliance

Required qualifications

• Active/current National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA)
• 1-3 years of experience as a pharmacy technician in relevant settings such as health plans or retail pharmacies
• Working knowledge of pharmacy claims adjudication and PBM terminology
• Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent relevant work experience
• Able to work effectively in a fully remote environment with reliable attendance throughout the seasonal assignment
