Florida Licensed Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary

To support pharmacy operations, the part-time Florida Licensed Pharmacy Technician will manage outbound patient refill calls, assist with inbound inquiries, and ensure accurate medication refill processes while working remotely with a rotating schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to patients for refill requests and manage inbound pharmacy inquiries
• Coordinate medication refills, including data entry and ensuring correct days supply for all fills
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and maintain updated knowledge through educational opportunities

Required qualifications

• State registered as a pharmacy technician; CPhT certification preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician, with 5-8 years preferred
• High school diploma or GED required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and Word
• Experience working in a healthcare setting with physicians and nurses is a plus
