Florida Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Summary

To provide essential nursing care in a remote setting, the full-time Florida Licensed Practical Nurse will collect patient data, administer medications, assist with clinical procedures, and educate patients while adhering to established protocols under supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect patient histories, vital signs, and other clinical data, communicating significant findings to the supervising clinician
• Administer medications, treatments, and routine nursing interventions as authorized by law and organizational policy
• Prepare patients and examination rooms for clinical visits, tests, and procedures, while documenting care activities accurately in the electronic health record

Required Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited practical or vocational nursing program with 0 to 2 years of post-license clinical nursing experience
• Active and unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse license in Florida
• Current Basic Life Support certification preferred; additional certifications may be required based on the care setting
• Foundational knowledge of practical nursing standards and medication administration
• Ability to use electronic health record systems and clinical equipment effectively
