Florida Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Job Summary
To support a growing clinical team, the full-time Florida Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will assess patients' mental and physical health, develop and implement treatment plans, and provide psychotherapy and medication management in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and diagnose psychiatric disorders for adolescent and adult patients
- Prescribe medications and monitor patients' responses and side effects while educating them on treatment options
- Document patient histories, treatment plans, and compliance with regulations in the electronic health record (EHR)
Required qualifications
- 2 years of experience practicing as a Nurse Practitioner
- Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license (PMHNP)
- Experience in addiction and mental health treatment
- Ability to work with patients across the lifespan, ages 13 and up
- Knowledge of mental health diagnoses and treatment planning
