Florida Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Job Summary
To support a growing mental health practice, the full-time Florida Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will assess patients' mental and physical health, develop and implement treatment plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Assess patients' mental and physical status, diagnose psychiatric disorders, and conduct individual psychotherapy
- Prescribe medications, monitor patient responses, and educate patients and families about mental health conditions
- Document patient care accurately in the electronic health record (EHR) while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and national standards
Required qualifications
- 2 years of experience practicing as a Nurse Practitioner
- Currently holds a Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license (PMHNP)
- Experience in Addiction and Mental Health
- Familiarity with treatment planning and conducting comprehensive assessments
- Ability to work with patients across the lifespan, including those with severe mental illness
