Job Summary
To support a growing mental health practice, the full-time Florida Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will assess and diagnose patients, develop treatment plans, prescribe medications, and conduct individual psychotherapy, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Assess patients' mental and physical health, diagnose psychiatric disorders, and develop treatment plans
- Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications, educating patients about risks and benefits
- Document patient care accurately in the electronic health record (EHR) while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and state regulations
Required qualifications
- 2 years of experience practicing as a Nurse Practitioner
- Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) license
- Experience in Addiction and Mental Health
- Ability to work with patients across the lifespan (ages 13 and older)
- Experience with treatment planning and conducting comprehensive assessments
