Job Summary
To support a growing telehealth practice, the full-time Florida Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will assess patients' mental and physical health, diagnose psychiatric disorders, prescribe medications, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to implement treatment plans remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and diagnose mental health conditions, providing care to patients across the lifespan
- Prescribe psychotropic medications and monitor patients for side effects and treatment effectiveness
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other regulations
Required qualifications
- 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner
- Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) license
- Experience in Addiction and Mental Health
- Comfort working with patients aged 13 years and older
- Knowledge of mental health diagnoses and treatment planning
