Job Summary
To support a growing practice, the full-time Florida Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will assess patients' mental and physical health, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop treatment plans, and provide individual psychotherapy while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Diagnose psychiatric disorders and conduct individual psychotherapy for patients across the lifespan
- Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications, educating patients on risks and benefits
- Document patient histories, treatment plans, and outcomes while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and state regulations
Required qualifications
- 2 years of experience practicing as a Nurse Practitioner
- Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license (PMHNP)
- Experience in Addiction and Mental Health
- Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments and treatment planning
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and telehealth technology
