Job Summary
To support a growing mental health practice, the full-time Florida Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will assess and treat patients, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Assess patients' mental and physical health, diagnose psychiatric disorders, and conduct individual psychotherapy
- Prescribe medications, monitor usage and side effects, and educate patients and families on treatment options
- Document patient care accurately in the electronic health record while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and national standards
Required qualifications
- 2 years of experience practicing as a Nurse Practitioner
- Currently holds a Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license (PMHNP)
- Experience in Addiction and Mental Health
- Ability to work with patients across the lifespan (ages 13+)
- Knowledge of mental health diagnoses and treatment planning
