Job Summary
To support a growing practice, the full-time Florida Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will assess and diagnose patients' mental health conditions, develop treatment plans, and provide psychotherapy and medication management in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Assess patients' mental and physical health, diagnose psychiatric disorders, and conduct individual psychotherapy
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and evaluate treatment plans while monitoring medication usage and side effects
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) and ensure compliance with HIPAA and state regulations
Required qualifications
- 2 years of experience practicing as a Nurse Practitioner
- Currently holds a Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license (PMHNP)
- Experience in Addiction and Mental Health, with a focus on treating adults and adolescents
- Familiarity with treatment planning and conducting comprehensive assessments
- Comfortable with telehealth technology and EHR documentation
