Job Summary
To support respiratory care services, the full-time Florida Licensed Respiratory Therapist will manage patient treatment plans, instruct patients during therapy, and adjust therapies based on clinical data in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Recommends changes in respiratory care plans and instructs patients before, during, and after treatment delivery
- Initiates and maintains mechanical ventilation while monitoring patient progress and ensuring effective assessments
- Serves as a resource for staff training and supervision, while responding to emergencies and providing cardiopulmonary diagnostics support
Required qualifications
- Graduate of an approved school of respiratory therapy or equivalent training
- 3+ years of hospital experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- State Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
