Job Summary
Supporting patients through ongoing telehealth care, the full-time Florida Licensed RN - Ambulatory Care in the Hypertension Unit will manage education, monitoring, and care coordination related to hypertension, working in a hybrid environment with a combination of in-house and remote duties, and requiring weekend coverage.
Key responsibilities
- Utilizes ambulatory care nursing knowledge to promote wellness and develop individualized care plans
- Serves as a clinical resource by precepting new hires and coordinating patient care
- Integrates patient and family education throughout the delivery of care while ensuring a safe environment
Required qualifications
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Florida or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
- Current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification
- One year of nursing experience required unless approved by director level or above
- Demonstrated competency in nursing skills and patient care equipment
