Florida Licensed RN Charge Auditor

Job Summary

To ensure accurate charge capture and documentation practices, the full-time Florida Licensed RN Charge Auditor will audit procedural charges, educate staff on documentation issues, and manage charge entry for OR/Cardiac Cath procedures in a fully remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Audits procedural charges and clinical documentation for accuracy and completeness
• Educates staff on charging and documentation issues while communicating with department management
• Manages charge entry for OR/Cardiac Cath procedures and processes purchase orders for implants

Required qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's degree in Nursing (preferred)
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida
• Experience in Operating Room, Cath Lab, or Interventional Radiology
• Knowledge of electronic medical records and proficiency in Excel and Word
• Certified Billing and Coding Specialist (CBCS) certification (preferred)
